SCS User Profiles

     Who is using SCS Steel?

It's a pretty diverse group of manufacturers – OEMs and job shops alike, plus service centers who've moved into 'first stage' fabrication work. Their products range from sawblades to railcars and nearly anything in between that involves cutting, punching, bending and welding sheet steel.

A common thread among these users is they turned to SCS to solve a specific problem like any one of these:

  • Frequent rust rejects
  • Excessive welding fumes
  • Costly paint preparation
but then they found that SCS steel solved other problems or created other opportunities they had not anticipated. Enterprising sheet metal fabricators take advantage of these opportunities by capuring the quality, cost or cycle time benefits that accrue from using SCS.

A number of these users have gone 'on the record', telling why SCS works better for them and their customers. Better than the hot rolled black, HRP&O and even cold rolled steel they had been using. Click on the links at the right to read their profiles.
